Information, not professional advice

Our guides and calculator are general information. They aren’t engineering, construction or legal advice, and they can’t account for the conditions at your property. Calculator results are estimates, not quotes.

Contractors are independent

Contractors listed on this site are independent businesses. We don’t employ them, supervise their work or guarantee their prices, quality, licensing or insurance. Any agreement you make is between you and the contractor.

Listing accuracy

We describe contractors’ services based on the evidence described in how we review contractors. Businesses change, so confirm details directly before you hire.
